The raft race started on a racing high tide today, making it difficult to get out into the main river. Great fun was had by all. Had to share some of the photos…The old boat-sheds are in the background at the start.

I seem to have this fascination with shapes and angles at the moment. Hopefully it won’t last too long. Not sure if I prefer the colour shot or the black and white..,
Waitangi weekend here in New Zealand – the time when we celebrate as a nation the Treaty of Waitangi. Here in Dargaville boats raced on the mighty Northern Wairoa River.
