Playing with masking techniques – lots of fun and learning. Because watercolours can’t be painted light over dark, bits that you want to stay light have to be blocked before each wash. There are about four layers here…

There used to be a Memorial room in the old Church to a family lost on missionary service overseas, but the congregation changed, the memories faded, and eventually the room was dismantled to make way for other things. They were my family.
